To mark the release of his latest book, Benoît Jacques - author, illustrator and patron of the Médiathèque - will be exhibiting the original linocuts of “La Lettre d'Égypte”.

During his one and only trip to the land of the pyramids in 1828, Jean-François Champollion wrote his wife Rose a letter full of warmth and desire in hieroglyphics. La Lettre d'Égypte, a 40-page rebus that will get your grey cells firing and your zygomatic muscles in the gym.
