After the success of last year's first edition, the Printemps des Sports Equestres will once again bring together the elite of national and international riders on the Grand Parquet, the French capital of horses. Over the course of five days, high-level competitions, including the highly anticipated French Master Pro Jumping Championships, will take place one after the other, with a new feature this year. And not the least!
The Printemps des Sports Equestres will feature an International Dressage Competition, CDI 5*; the highest level of competition in the hierarchy of competitions established by the International Equestrian Federation. Never before has the Grand Parquet hosted such a high level competition in this discipline. The living legend of dressage, the German Isabell Werth, has confirmed her participation: a good omen!
Show jumping will not be outdone. In parallel with the French Master Pro Championships, riders will once again have the opportunity to bring their best horses to compete in a CSI 4*, and their seven and eight year old horses to compete in a CSI YH. They will also be able to follow their students in dedicated labels (CSI 1*, CSI U25 and CSI Amateur).
The program of events will also be enriched:
The "Discovery for All" village, which offers the youngest to become familiar with horseback riding via pony rides in partnership with the Military Riding School, or to discover equestrian tourism with the Henson horses of the Bost family, whose most illustrious representative, Roger-Yves, is Olympic champion in Rio, in 2016, with the French team.
Drawing" workshops with the Fontainebleau Cheval association will also be offered.
For the first time at the Printemps des Sports Equestres, the famous Marino and his animals will be present with his mini-farm and his occupants, movie stars!
The weekend will end with a demonstration by the riders of the Fontainebleau Military Riding School. See you on Sunday, April 23, after the prize-giving ceremony for the French Master Pro show jumping championships.
