Take advantage of an exceptional day to immerse yourself in the secret world of opera.
The arts of opera, in the heart of Fontainebleau: creating a show at the Opéra means combining a kaleidoscope of skills: music, dance, singing, staging, costumes, sets, video, sound, photography, violin making...
Iris Daverio's ambition is to reveal their richness and make them accessible.
Cadences Libres offers an immersive day behind the scenes at the Opéra.
Take part in a dance lesson at the barre, alongside a Paris Opéra dancer; chat with a soloist at an intimate recital; meet the director of OpéraComique at an exhibition of her stage costumes; attend rehearsals.
In the evening, become a spectator once again for the gala evening combining opera, concert and dance, with two original creations commissioned especially for the festival.
Opéra artists up close to the public: meet 25 musicians, dancers and singers from the Opéra national de Paris during the day: they'll share the beauty of their art in a different way, outside the confines of institutions.
On the program :
All day: exhibition of Opéra-Comique costumes.
From 10 a.m.: Opéra-Comique costume exhibition, Salle des fêtes du Théâtre de Fontainebleau - free admission
