Grand Café

The Grand Café is an important place in the life of Fontainebleau. Ideally located on the place Napoléon, by the historic caroussel, it boasts a large terrace very appreciated as soon as the slightest ray of sun shows itself, and partly heated in winter.

Renovated, it has become an elegant place in red and purple hues, but has preserved and restored its extraordinary original ceilings. The exposed stone walls and beautiful tapestries welcome paintings by local artists, with a new exhibition every three months or so.

You come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just to enjoy a drink with friends in the evening.

You can enjoy a beef carpaccio with parmesan chips and french fries, a beef fillet à la "Grand Café" with Dauphine potatoes, a cutlet of salmon with sorrel and tagliatelle.
