The château's artistic vocation didn't stop with the fall of the Second Empire, and since 1921, every summer the château has welcomed teachers and students from the American Schools of Art in Fontainebleau, institutions that perpetuate the teaching of French-style excellence in the fields of music and architecture. In 2018, strengthened by this shared history and driven by a common desire, the Château de Fontainebleau and the American Schools of Art Foundation have decided to strengthen their partnership by creating a Music Festival.

For over a century, the American Schools of Art have found Fontainebleau a unique place of inspiration.

Today, this exceptional bond is extended through a unique festival where music and architecture meet in dialogue. Young talents from all over the world present original creations and learn alongside the greatest artists of today, to become the virtuosos and architects of tomorrow!

Accessible to all, this event invites you to discover an astonishing artistic experience, thanks to concerts, masterclasses, rehearsals and tours.

Festival events will take place in the Chateau's Chapelle de la Trinité, Salle de Bal and Salle des Colonnes.
